The CBSE Class 12 board exams were conducted between February 15 and April 2, 2025, covering a wide range of subjects across the Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams. This year, over 16 lakh students appeared for the examinations at thousands of centers across the country and abroad.
Despite the massive scale, the exams were conducted smoothly and efficiently. CBSE ensured strict adherence to examination protocols, including enhanced security and surveillance, to maintain the integrity of the process.
Understanding the pressure and anxiety surrounding board exam results, CBSE will activate its counseling services from May 13 onwards. Students and parents can reach out to professional counselors via the helpline numbers and email support listed on the official CBSE website.
Officials have also urged students and families to remember that board exam results are not the final measure of one’s potential or future success. There are a wide variety of paths and opportunities available, regardless of scores.
After the results are announced, students will begin planning their next steps — whether it’s applying for undergraduate courses, preparing for entrance exams, or exploring vocational options. Universities and colleges will soon start their admission processes, many of which are dependent on CBSE results.
Educational institutions and career counselors suggest students take time to reflect on their strengths, interests, and goals before rushing into decisions.
